Vegetarian Labelling
Some of our best known chocolate products – including MARS bars, SNICKERS bars, GALAXY and MALTESERS –are suitable for vegetarians.
We believe in clear, transparent labelling and we introduced this initiative because we want to make products suitable for vegetarians.
The vegetarian labelling appears on the back of pack where nutritional information, including Guideline Daily Amounts and ingredients, is also listed. Each relevant pack features the words ‘Suitable for Vegetarians'. This labelling ensures that these products are in line with the FSA’s guidance on vegetarian labelling.

Halal Product Suitability
Mars works with the Halal Food Group to provide up to date information for their Food Guide, and to ensure that we are providing the most relevant information for consumers following a Halal diet.

Kosher Product Suitability
Mars has partnered with the UK’s leading kosher certification board - the Kashrut Division of the London Beth Din (KLBD) - to ensure that the following products are produced in accordance with kosher values and are kosher certified.
