Going global is an ambition for many businesses. For our Information Services unit, it’s already a fact of life. We’re the global IT division of Mars, a single team of some 1300 people across the globe who play a key role in holding the whole organisation together - ensuring the worldwide business benefits from exceptional IT leadership, digital connectivity and a world-class IS service.
Our primary objective is about using IS to give Mars a competitive edge. It’s about developing solutions that solve some of our clients’ most critical business problems; it’s about increasing efficiency, reducing costs and sharing knowledge. In practice, this means developing and delivering truly global applications and services, managing the global infrastructure and providing best in class local support to all of our sites worldwide.
Location
In the UK, we’ve a nationwide IS service, provided from locations right across the country, although the team is centred in Slough, which is one of Mars’ eight global IS hubs. Join us there and you’ll become part of an open-plan, status-free office environment in which even the most senior people sit with the team. What’s more, you’ll benefit from a host of facilities and a social calendar that includes everything from pilates to theatre trips and charity events.
